What to consider for your business

Plan around your quieter months

Placencia’s reported 2025 occupancy was lowest in September and October. Compare this pattern with your own booking pace, lead times and costs before deciding when to run an offer or schedule maintenance.

Give travelers a clear reason to choose you

Reported room supply grew while annual area occupancy fell. That combination makes differentiation worth reviewing, but it does not establish why occupancy changed. Check your offer, booking path and enquiry follow-up before defaulting to a price cut.

Let your guest data guide the audience

National source markets are a starting point for research. Compare them with your own guests and profitable bookings. Test a new audience with a limited budget and measure enquiries, bookings and acquisition cost.

These are planning considerations, not forecasts, guarantees or findings about any individual property. National arrivals, local occupancy and business revenue measure different things.
