Ads Budget Planner

Work out what Google Ads and Meta Ads could cost to reach your sales goal, then check whether the numbers work for your business.

Invented teaching example. These costs and conversion rates are not Belize benchmarks or platform recommendations.

Your goal and campaign costs

Total across both channels, not the target for each platform. Count unique completed sales, not likes or enquiries.

What is left after delivering the booking or product, commissions, payment fees and likely refunds, before advertising, shared overhead and tax. Use the whole booking, not one night, when your goal is bookings.

Google Ads

Media spend ÷ completed sales attributed consistently. Use an estimate only when actual results are unavailable.

Meta Ads

Media spend ÷ completed sales attributed consistently. Use an estimate only when actual results are unavailable.

Allocation, spend target & other costs

The remainder goes to Meta. This allocates the sales goal, not an automatic 50/50 spend recommendation.

Your chosen ceiling, not an industry rule. Leave enough to cover shared overhead, owner earnings and risk.

Creative, management, landing pages and tracking costs for this plan. Count them once outside platform media spend.

Included: 50% of the sales goal to Google; acquisition ceiling 30% of contribution; other campaign costs BZD 100.00.

Your monthly plan

Estimated platform ad spend

BZD 1,500.00

BZD 1,600.00 including entered campaign costs.

Google Ads

BZD 600.00

10 target sales · BZD 60.00 per completed sale

Average daily setting: BZD 19.73 (monthly ÷ 30.4).

Meta Ads

BZD 900.00

10 target sales · BZD 90.00 per completed sale

Daily planning pace: BZD 30.00 (30-day plan).

This channel is above your acquisition cost target.

Your acquisition ceiling is BZD 1,800.00 including other campaign costs. That leaves a platform cost target of BZD 85.00 per completed sale.

The combined plan fits your entered ceiling. This does not establish demand or guarantee results.

Contribution remaining after entered acquisition costs: BZD 4,400.00, before shared overhead and tax.

Google Ads has the lower entered cost per completed sale. A lower cost alone does not prove where the next dollar should go. Confirm demand, incremental sales, lead quality and the ability to scale before changing the split.

What if acquisition costs change?

Illustrative sensitivity for the same sales target; these are not confidence intervals:

Platform cost per sale 25% lower: BZD 1,225.00 total acquisition costs.

Platform cost per sale as entered: BZD 1,600.00 total acquisition costs.

Platform cost per sale 25% higher: BZD 1,975.00 total acquisition costs.

Method and platform budget notes

Cost per sale = cost per link click ÷ (qualified enquiry rate × completed-sale rate), or your entered cost per sale. Each channel budget = its share of the total sales goal × its cost per sale. The model assumes these rates stay constant as spend changes.

Google’s average daily figure is monthly media spend ÷ 30.4, rounded down to cents. For most campaigns daily spend may be up to twice that setting. Budget changes and partial months alter limits. Meta’s 30-day daily pace is arithmetic guidance, not a platform spending cap; check current budget settings in Ads Manager.

Use the same currency, attribution method and planning period. Avoid counting the same booking in both platforms. Track qualified enquiries, completed bookings, contribution and cancellations. No live account data or demand forecast is connected.
